ROCKY CREEK VIADUCT

SkyLine was hired to install roughly 260 lineal feet of modular scaffold stairs winding down the existing hillside on Hwy 1 in order for workers to descend roughly 150’ from existing roadway to coastline below for the Rocky Creek Bridge and Viaduct renovation project.

A long-term project is underway to build a viaduct supporting two-way traffic and to repair a seawall at the cliff base, helping prevent further erosion and ensuring road stability. The project will also repair the concrete seawall at the base of the cliff to stop further erosion and keep the road and new structure stable.
